Carol Cox, RN
Mrs. Carol Cox, RN, BS

Carol Cox, RN, BS graduated from Richmond Memorial School of Nursing where she received her diploma in nursing. She has had a variety of nursing experiences with a concentration of nursing in labor and delivery, post-partum, and nursery. She was a Head Nurse and developed the concept of short stay hospitalizations for post-delivery obstetric patients at Henrico Doctors’ Hospital in Richmond. She furthered her education and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences from Old Dominion University. She left nursing to become a full-time Family Life teacher in Pittsylvania County Schools and loves teaching her students. She especially loves following her same students 4th through 10th grade.

Mrs. Luci Satterfield, RN
Mrs. Luci Satterfield, RN, BSN

Luci Satterfield, RN, BSN received her RN diploma from The Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and later attended Virginia Commonwealth University to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.

Experience in a variety of medical settings, and teaching as an adjunct faculty member at Danville Community College in the nursing program has prepared her for working with all ages.  Having taught her own children in Family Life classes she views each lesson as a parent.  

Mrs. Satterfield began her career as a Family Life Educator in Pittsylvania County Schools in 2008.  She enjoys the opportunity to share with students real-life topics and encourages students at each grade level to make good choices.
